What We Do

• Promote and assist existing Hartford businesses to continue and expand.

• Provide opportunities for new businesses to locate in Hartford.

• Promote and support tourism.

How We Do It

• Low interest loans through the Hartford Business Revolving Loan Fund.

• Assistance with local permitting process.

• Resource for public and private funding.

• Resource for available land and buildings.

• Links with the Small Business Development Center and the Green Mountain Economic Development Corporation to assist in development of business plans and other support as needed.

• Assistance with local and State tax incentive opportunities.

• Work with local Chambers of Commerce and Regional Marketing Organizations.

Special Projects

• Development of a new Revitalization Plan for Downtown Historic White River Junction.

• Promotion of Hartford as a destination along the Route 5 Scenic Byways Corridor.
