The Town of Hartford, Vermont is seeking to fill one slot of the Hartford Parks and Recreation Commission. Hartford Parks & Recreation Department is a national accredited department by the Commission for Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies. Please pick up an application at the Town Manager’s Office, Hartford Municipal Building, 171 Bridge Street, White River Junction, VT or download below.
The Commission shall consult with and advise the Director of Parks and Recreation in matters affecting recreation programs; park/facility related projects, policies and finances. Assist in the development of long-range planning for recreation and park needs of the community. New members must be committed to attending one meeting a month – second Thursday of each month at 6PM.
