 Parks & Facilities are maintained by the Hartford Parks & Recreation Department

  • Park Season - April to October 31st
  • Parks close at 9:00 PM
  • Alcohol beverages are prohibited
  • Groups and families may use park space for special occasions by completing a Park Use Application. Fees may be applicable.
  • Call the Recreation Office for details (802) 295-5036.

Diving and swimming lanes, large waterslide, wading pool, and dressing rooms. Large deck areas (some shaded) with lounge chairs for sun bathing. Season passes on sale at the Recreation Office. Open seasonally, end of June through August.

45 Highland Avenue, White River Junction, Vermont. *Behind Hartford High School Complex.
Ice arena (Oct.-March) / Indoor Skate Park (May-September). Facility can be rented-Contact Recreation Office for details.

Route 14 to Quechee/West Hartford Road, to Westfield Drive, West Hartford, Vermont
Tennis court, horseshoe pits, family picnic areas with grills, boating and fishing access, playground equipment, baseball/softball field, basketball 1/2 court, and nature trail.

Briggs Memorial Flower Garden, and Engine 494, its Tender, and Caboose. Restoration efforts are underway to restore the Engine 494, Tender & Caboose.

Family picnic sites, fishing access, play field, playground equipment, Paul Bennett Memorial Garden and bandstand.
Maanawaka Conservation Area (MAH-NA-WALKA)
Route 5, just north of Wilder, VT
Trailhead for the Hazen Trail corridor between the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich and Wilder, and a backwater trail which provides fishing access along the Connecticut River. (Trail maps available at Recreation Office.)
Quechee Green Park and Dewey's LandingQuechee Green Park

Main Street, Quechee, VT (park is near Post Office/landing is across from Marshland Farm/Quechee Inn.)
Playground equipment and fitness stations. Walking and jogging path around the entire park which includes a large athletic field. fishing access for Dewey's Pond located at the landing.
