I am curious if anything can be done by the town to compel the plumbing supply house and the old gas station being used to store soil and mulch to clean up their properties. They are an eyesore.

The Town Hall Renovation was defeated by Australian Ballot in February 2009. The tally was 476 in Favor and 922 Opposed.

The bottle return/recycling at Cumberland Farms is looking like the town dump with a truck load of what appears to be trash - bags possibly and there are two or three units there with trash. These are unsightly at best but assume they are attracking bugs/rodents/etc.
What can be done about this?

The speed limit on the Hartford Village end of Christian Street is posted as 25mph, however many drivers dangerously exceed this limit. How can I bring this issue to the towns attention for review?

what times are the polls open on november 6th? Can I still get an austrailian ballot and if so, how/where?

The polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
You can get an absentee ballot if they are a registered voter, if they are not they can register up till Oct. 31st.
Please call the Town Clerk's Office at 802-295-2785 for the different ways to vote absentee in Hartford.

I have heard both \"KWeechee\" and \"keechee\" for the town\'s pronounciation. Which is correct? I do not live there but would like to say it correctly when taking folks there to visit.
