Have the official meeting minutes from the May 8 Selectman's meeting regarding the decisions made for the reconstruction been released and where can I locate them?
A. Unfortunately, there was not a Selectboard Meeting on May 8, 2012. I believe you may be refering to the Selectboard Meeting held on May 1, 2012. Those minutes are not posted as they must be approved by the Selectman at tonight's meeting, if approved they will then be posted on our website.

What is happening with the dog park? Emails to the park info email have not been answered! There is a contest PetSafe is holding with a 100k dog park awarded. What a great way to bring some renewed interest to Hartford and win a great park. Has the town thought about entering?

I am trying to pay the April bill on line and it shows the previous statement and not a new statement. I thought the bills were going up in April?

A. Water bills are run quarterly depending on the location of the property. Please call the Finance Department to determine what schedule the location you are inquiring about is on and if there is anything due at this time.

The Town of Hartford does not have any rides to rent, however, the Hanover RecretaionDepartment does have a bouncey house. The phoen number to the Hanover Recreation Center is 603-643-5315.

Is it allowable to keep a small number of chickens or ducks in a residential neighborhood in Hartford Village?

Does the town still provide sand for residents to use in their own private driveways? If so, is it still accessible after business hours, or does one need to go when the highway dept. is operating?
A. Sand is available to Residents at the Department of Public Works and the Quechee Treatment Plant. Residents are asked to limit consumption to 2 buckets per visit. Sand is available 24hours a day, 7 days a week.

How do I read the water and sewer bill? Is the usage in gallons or cubic feet?
A. Thank you for your question, per our Finance Department, the water bill shows the amount in gallons but is charged in cubic feet.

Does Hartford plan to upgrade to \"no sort\" recycling, and if so when? Also is only pete 1 & 2 acceptable still?
A. The Town of Hartford is not presently able to accept single sort recycling.
Currently, the Town of Hartford accepts number 1/2/5 plastics.

I have heard a few different dates/times floating around regarding trick or treating for Hartford. Will this be on the actual holiday, Monday, 10/31 or over the weekend..such as after the Halloween festivities on 10/29.

I received a notice that my home in Wilder needs to be assessed. Is there a town-wide assessment going on right now? How widespread is it?
A. After the town wide revaluation in 1999, we began re-inspecting and re-measuring residential properties on a 5 to 6-year cyclical basis. After the 2007 revaluation, we resumed this process. Hello, the other day I noticed a building permit on the vacant lot that used to be The WRAP. I was hoping to attend the meeting to find out what\'s being put in there, but the permit is gone. I believe it said that there was going to be a meeting on the 13th and 16th of August.

Would the Dilapidated Building Ordinance have any purpose in removing the stack of boards called a building that is sitting on Rt. 14 and the VA cutoff bridge. This is a very dangerous intersection.
