Q. pushing snow into public streets

Hi,
Wondering what the specfic laws and town ordinances are regarding the pushing of snow onto public road ways. Thanks!

Placement of snow in public ways is under VSA Title 19, Section 1111- It is illegal to remove snow from private property and deposit it on or across the sidewalk, roadway or against structures such as fire hydrants. Please contact Public Works at 802-295-3622 if you have further questions regarding this matter.
