Welcome to our latest brochure, a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering a vibrant, active, and connected community. Within the pages of our Fall and Winter Brochure, you’ll discover a diverse array of programs and offerings tailor-made for Hartford residents of all ages and interests.

From seasonal festivities that have become cherished traditions, to the proud introduction of another Wendell A. Barwood ice arena season providing opportunities for our emerging athletes who participate in hockey, skating lessons, curling, speedskating and much more.  We have taken careful measures to ensure everyone is offered opportunities that resonates with their winter season of passions.

At the heart of our mission lies the belief that recreation and leisure are essential to community well-being. We are here to serve the recreational needs of Hartford by offering lifelong learning through recreational and educational programming utilizing amazing parks and facilities.  Beyond the fun and excitement, Hartford Parks & Recreation creates memories, strengthens our community, and promotes what is so important for daily living.   

We’re more than just parks and facilities; we’re a dedicated team, always striving to provide top-notch services and experiences as the only Nationally Accredited Agency in the State of Vermont and one of only 192 agencies in the country.  Your feedback, support, and participation inspire us every day, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
