Curbside Recycling

The Dos and Don'ts of Zero Sort Reminder

Important Curbside Pickup Notice!

If you must place recyclables in bags, the bags must be clear or they will not be picked up due to a growing problem with contamination within the collected materials. Please place materials in a proper container for pick up.

Due to the growing volume of banned products being placed in curbside recycling containers, The Department of Public Works and Casella Waste Systems, Inc. would like to remind the users of curbside recycling of the Dos and Don'ts of Zero Sort Recycling.

The facility also administers the residential curbside recycling program that is supported by general fund taxes. Recently the curbside recycling program went to zero sort operations, which allows residents to mix all accepted recycling in the same curbside container.
