The public hearing is to obtain the views of citizens on community development, to furnish information concerning the range of community development activities that have been undertaken under this program, and to give affected citizens the opportunity to examine a statement of the use of these funds. The VCDP Funds received have been used to accomplish the following activities: new construction of 17 units of housing located at the corner of Bridge and North Main Streets, of which 16 are affordable to low-to moderate-income households. Information on this project may be obtained from and viewed weekdays during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Town Manager’s Office, 171 Bridge Street, White River Junction, VT, starting on March 12, 2019.
