To all of our Solid Waste Facility Users and Community Members.

Due to escalating expenses, and stringent permitting and regulations, we will not be able to maintain our hours and level of service that we have for over two decades. Effective September 24, 2019, our hours of operation for the scale house and administrative building will be Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  

As we move forward, our goal is to work closely with all of our users, our community, staff, our Selectboard, industry professionals, vendors, the Greater Upper Valley Solid Waste Management District, the State of Vermont, the Lebanon Landfill, and all of our other essential partners to develop solutions to the challenges that we are facing at our facility. We will continue to do this in a transparent manner that is both fiscally and environmentally responsible.
