The 2022 Grand List Abstract was filed with the Town Clerk on June 1st, 2022.
It is the responsibility of the taxpayer to review the information for accuracy.

Grievances must be received by 4pm on Friday, June 17th 2022 for appeals on 2022 Grand List values.
No grievance will be accepted after 4pm on June 17th.
A meeting with the assessor will be scheduled once the grievance form has been submitted (no later than 4pm on Friday, June 17th 2022).

The hearing is the property owner's opportunity to provide evidence and make the case for new valuation.
Hearings will be held Monday through Thursday, June 20th through 23rd.
If the scheduled grievance hearing is in person, it will be held in Room 1 at the Hartford Town Hall (171 Bridge St, White River Jct., VT).
For in person meetings, please arrive 10 minutes early to have a copy made of any supporting documents not yet provided.
Notices of Grievance Results
Notices of Grievance Results will be mailed within 2 weeks after hearings are closed. This notice will contain information regarding the procedure for appealing the decision of the Assessor/Listers to the BCA.Each level of appeal must be completed before the next can be scheduled.
Appeals beyond the local level go to either the Vermont Superior Court or to the Director of Property Valuation and Review.
